Nineacres Memorial Campsite
The ‘Nineacres Memorial Campsite’ has belonged to the 2nd Fife Scout group for the past 60 years and is situated on the edge of the Crook-of-Devon (O.S. Map No. 58 - 03471 00770), 5 miles west of Kinross, 15 miles south of Perth and 13 miles north of Dunfermline.
The site is fully open between April and November with restricted opening between December and March and is a total of 9 acres with ample opportunities to practice traditional scout craft.

A variety of local amenities are available within a 5 minute walk from the site including village store, petrol station and doctor. A supermarket is situated 5 miles away in Kinross. The campsite is also situated at the base of the Ochil hills which offers excellent walking for all ages.

On-Site Facilities
Toilet Block
Soap, Paper Towels and Toilet Paper are supplied along with cleaning materials.
Water
Drinking water for the campsite is available outside the food preparation area.
Cooking
An indoor food preparation area is located on site with a water supply, large wood burning range.
Alter Fires
Altar fires are available for use. Please contact the Booking Secretary for further details.
Activity Hall
An indoor Activity Hall is available for hire.
Bothy (New for 2010)
A bothy is available for hire which is fitted out with Alpine style Bunks and can sleep approximately 18
Zodiac Awards
Nineacres Memorial Campsite is ideal for Scouts or Explorers to gain several aspects of the Zodiac Awards.

Charges for 2010
The following prices are applicable for the services described below:

Member prices include Members of the Scout Association, Guides, Boys Brigade and other recognised Youth Organisations. Large groups who are not part of these youth organisations may qualify for a group discount. Please contact the Booking Secretary for more information.
Sole use of the site will not normally be considered for groups of less than 50 persons.
The 2nd Fife Scout Group reserves the right to alter the above charges without notice.
Prices valid until 31/12/2010
A deposit of £20 is required to confirm all bookings with the remainder of the balance due in full within 14 days after your stay at Nineacres.
